Letter #28: I apologize for what my friends think of you.
Updated: Jan 8, 2020
Who is right?
Once you told me that we were the only ones that knew what had happened between us.
That day I did not listen to you. However, I think that is the most correct and sensible thing to say.
I apologize because the people around me only know my version of the story.
I apologize because there are times that I become the victim and
that does not help you at all.
I apologize because surely for lack of information, I was misunderstanding everything without reason.
If you are reading this, please contact me.
If you are reading this, it means that I finally opened up my heart and thoughts to you.
Telling the truth makes us vulnerable and that is why I did not allow it before.
But telling the truth is the only way to really let go, to be truly loved.
If you don't want to look for me, I respect that indeed.
If you don't want to look for me, it's because of the fact that you don't need me as much as I need you and that with time, it will be fine for me.
If you don't want to look for me, I will eventually understand and I will stop reaching out.
Once you told me that only we knew what had happened between us.
That sounds so real to me now that I truly miss you from the heart.
